I click yet again on the internet. Up pops the same old boring shit, maybe time to change my home page? All's I can really think, is 'gimme some love', mr. internet. Gimme some love. Maybe time to start a blog. Ha, am I a stupid fuck or what - ever the optimist anyway.

What the internet is really missing, since about 1999 is suck.com. I guess all the free spirit and attitude happens elsewhere these days, owning your own section of the net is out of fashion it seems. Well, how not after such a spectacular collapse? Wait though, here was all these net people with bad attitudes and mostly not a lot of real skills, and the stock market lost billions investing in them (them and and us in fact!). Who were the dorks again? My theory is all the fun people that used to make funny sites actually made some loot, and they've been putting their feet up since the end of the dot.com era. And by my (very) personal calculations, the loot should be running out soon. What does this mean? This may mean a second era of a fun internet. A new swath of clever sites that love to crap on the hands that feed them. A second round of investment? I doubt it, but then again I didn't think anyone was dumb enough for the first round, so what do I know? Ok, I know I wish I was Polly Esther, but I'm not, so I'm hoping she's running out of cash right about today, and worried enough about it to grab a keyboard after a hard day at the gas pumps.
