Igor Kogan has released Flasm 1.5! This is the tool started long ago by Dave Hayden, certainly the weapon of choice if you wish to round trip swf bytecode. Igor has updated everything, including the docs, for swf7. And, he is working on an swf decompiler, Flare. This looks really nice as well, and seems it will be round tripping too one day. Great news : ).

    Hey Robin,

    you're blazingly fast :)
About Flare, I'm not that much of working on it now - I've two impossible deadlines pending. But it's pretty usable as is, don't know of any limitations besides of mentioned in the docs. Try it on some component.
NSIS installer is very nice btw.
How is your RMBuilder doing? You're working on AS compiler as I've heard?

    Hey Igor,

I've been giving them both a bit of a spin, they work great : ). I am working on that stuff too, but like you I have other work that has to come first. I haven't started swf7 stuff yet though. I hope to put flasm 1.5 to good use in the next little while. It is a great tool!
