Here is a contradiction - how can you consider yourself to be creative and a free spirit, and then work in advertising? It happens to a lot of designers, I've been guilty of this in the past myself. The worst part is the better you do your job, the crappier the world becomes for everyone else (yes, everyone hates ads - so do we). For repentance I think we should all do 'anit-ads' in our spare time -- things that neutralize these outrageous assaults of stupid products. Forget a positive legacy, leaving the world somewhat as we found it would be lots!

Not totally on topic, but reminded me of the following:

On Turkish Rolex distributor site, it says: Beware the fake Rolex'es that are sold for a percent of the real thing. Sometimes only qualified technicians can tell the difference, so make sure you purchase from an authorized dealer.

(OMG, 'Italian Rolex'es' may be fake, but if only a tech can tell the difference, that's good enough for me!).

    Best regards,
    Burak
