I've been meaning to post this for a while... Free and Sky (aka the boys) totally loved to push the mouse around before they were one. By four they were experts at changing icons, like changing the recycle bin to a toilet (and flushing down Dad's work). By seven onwards they were heavily into flash, and now for the last year or two they have been all .Net (they are 13 now). This summer their project was to make some C# programs, and they have them online here and here. I think AfterMath was the one they spent the most time on, it is a sim of a paper game I played so much in grade 7 that I failed grade 7. The irony is not lost on me. Basically tank vs tank, with different weapons, health, all done in GDI. They have a networked play version as well, not sure if that is the one...
They also have some 3d-max art up there and there. I assured their teacher at one point that it was there own -- had to be, as I sadly know shit about 3d.
It is definately every reasonable father's dream to be surpassed by your children, so I'm not complaining or anything. But I do think they should have the courtesty to wait until at least 20 or so. Thinking about banning computers for a few years...
